I'm having some trouble picking what dildo I want to get next... I don't have any silicone dildos yet, and really want one, but I've heard amazing things about the pure wand. Help me decide! And of course, I'm open to suggestions. If you have a better suggestion, keep in mind that I can't take anything over 1.5" in diameter. Thanks!
silicone and steel are so different. Do you like hard, unyielding insertables? If not, I would go with one of the O2s? Although I have the Pure Wand and it's AMAZING!
I love my Pure Wand so I went with that. My Flurry will be here today so I guess I should have waited to vote until I could say which one was better for sure. It will be hard to beat the Pure Wand!
If you want silicone, there are a lot of really great ones, plus you can use a good silicone vibrator as a dildo.
I was disappointed with the Mark. Here's my review on him. It's not you, it's me But, I really prefer larger toys.
I'd get the pure wand, but you use it much differently than a regular dildo, more of a rocking motion than a lot of thrusting, and of course, you have the balls to penetrate with a thinner shaft. But, you get two heads. Remember metal feels much larger than silicone or even plastic. It has no give at all.
If you are not going to be using it in a harness or for packing (which you can't do with the Pure Wand anyway), I'd recommend a good Fun Factory vibrator. (Not the Zodiac vibrators, they aren't up to FF standards at all.)
Have you considered glass? I resisted glass for a really long time (and My Man didn't want me to have one, based on unwarranted fear.) I love my Curved Purple Swirl by Don Wands. It isn't too big, has two heads, and a great intro to glass dildos. The feeling of glass is like nothing else, I guarantee you.

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply! I read your review on Mark, and I would definitely perfer the Adam, but I can't accomodate his girth, unfortunately. So he's out of the question for now.
I do have glass, and I love it! That's why I was considering silicone, because all of my toys are hard, unyeilding surfaces (except for my Butterfly kiss, which I hate for many reasons). I have a glass toy that isn't sold at EF that is somewhat C-shaped, so I know what the rocking motion is like.
Okay, I ended up using my points to buy the Njoy Pure Want and the Tantus Vamp, since the prices worked out nicely. I'll leave the poll open so that I can see Flurry and the Mark compare for a future purchase.
I'd say go with the Mark. It's a good, all-around silicone dildo, and a great place to start with softer materials.
I know you've made up your mind, but I also have the Vamp and it's a solid chunk of hard silicone. The Mark is much softer. Tantus's regular silicone is really firm, but their O2 is much more flexible and softer. I would say I prefer the Mark over the Vamp (though they're both great), because, when I want something hard, I'll use glass or steel. The Vamp is larger than your preferred 1.5" in diameter, as well, and it will feel much larger than it is because it's so firm.

I'd go with the Pure Wand. People rave about it and I think it sounds like a lot of fun.

In my opinion. the realistic o2 dildos aren't as.. different from normal silicone. flurry and other dildos that are more fantastically colored seem to be softer and the dual-density is more unique.
Comparing steel and silicone is like comparing apples and oranges... soft vs hard, realistic vs futuristic, drag vs no drag, etc. And while we're on materials, I second the suggestion of glass. Glass is amazing!
Since you've got the pure wand and the jury is still out on silicone... are you considering VixSkin at all? It stacks up pretty favorably against O2 from what I hear.

I have, but with Vixskin, there's only the Mustang and the Tex that are slim enough for me to be able to use. I do plan on getting them, although I'm not sure which I want first...

It really depends on what you want the dildo to do for you. if you want a G-spotter, the Pure Wand is the best one out there. But if you just want that filling feeling and some nice all-over vaginal stimulation, go with the Mark.
i wouldn't get the Flurry. I just didn't like it. The ridges are placed too high up on the shaft to stimulate my G-spot at all when the toy is fully inserted, plus the rest of the shaft is smooth and kind of boring.
