Strange packaging re-uses?

Contributor: Annemarie Annemarie
I like to reuse (reduce, reuse, recycle) packaging from toys, and I was wondering if any of you had any odd re-uses of packaging, something unrelated to storage of toys.

Such as, I currently have a Vixen Creations tube holding my TV/sound system/Blu-ray player remotes. I use one of my LELO boxes to hold index cards on my desk, the other holds little doodads and whatever has no other place.

I hope I'm not the only one out there like this!

You're not.

Whenever things come with rubber bands, I put the rubber bands in my "rubber band" bag. And I sometimes use boxes for storage for things in my room. I have a tin box from one of my stone dildos that I keep multiple vibrators in to save storage. If I see no use for something, THEN I recycle it. But if at all possible, I FIRST reuse.

I also save the paper that comes in Eden's shipping boxes, because I love art and know that it will be useful at some point!

I totally see where you're coming from with this. I like it!

I would've done this with a few packages (like from the Bunter Flitzer), but then I'd have to explain to people what the box is from.

Yeah, I usually keep the nicer packaging just in case I find some use for it. If it's just the plain old plastic blister-type, I toss it.

If the paper is in good enough condition, I unfurl it and cut it into smaller square-shaped pieces for notepads and scribble pads.

I do not rip up - I cut up used paper, though, for notes.

Haha, yeah...I'm a nut...

Whatever I decide to do with old packing boxes, the cats get there first.

We're all nuts, in our own way. Some are just nuttier than others.
