For a first time glass toy, I wouldn't get one with a lot of texture to it. I would go with Icicles No. 8.

For a first toy, the Icicles No. 8. I agree about the smooth texture and I also like that it has two "bumps" one a modest 1", the other a more challenging 1 1/2". That will give her something to "grow into" so that the toy won't start collecting dust after she moves past the beginner stage.

For a first timer I'd suggest the Icicles or something similar looking (smooth). But I do like my Deep Water G also. It's a good glass dildo.

Sounds like smooth is the way to go at first then If she ends up liking glass, then getting some others shouldn't be a problem.
