What doesn't make glass so awesome? It's an incredible material. If you like something that is not pliable, so you can really bear down with it, glass works for that. It is so easy to clean. It's gorgeous. And my favorite thing about it - there is no drag like you have with silicone. Personally, I don't ever need lube when I am playing with glass. I can't say the same for silicone. If you have not tried glass, you have to give it a shot. Maybe start with something in the lower price range - you can get nice pieces for less than $30. If you like it, then you can go for something more expensive.

In addition to all the awesome stuff Ms. N said, it's non-porous and can be completely sterilized, so it's great for sharing with partners. My favorite thing about glass is that when it's textured, the textures are really prominent! You can feel them a lot more than you would on a silicone toy.

For me it's pretty simple. They're pretty, they're hygienic, and they're awesome for (mild) temperature play.

I don't know, I was scared at first and then I bought the Amazing Swirls and loved them ever since. I like how slick and easy to use they are. You can actually FEEL the texture unlike some silicone toys. There are more texture options with glass. It's pretty. I love the feeling of a cool glass wand and it warming up to my body temperature. I just ordered two more over the weekend. That will bring my collection up to 9. I have 3 others on my wish list and 3 others that I want that EF doesn't sell I've been going back and forth on amazon checking out the one and I can't wait any longer, I gotta order it!

I think you should try one. I don't get girthy ones. Glass is just.....GREAT!
