When buying your first strap on.. should you go cheap or go expensive?

My first harness was a cheapo, which I found frustrating and disappointing. The cheap ones just lack basic stability and mine was also uncomfortable. Most women want to use it, not just wear it.

Just go for it.. But I did buy a kit first.. Then kinda found my likes and dislikes.. It's a good way to spend a good amount of money on quality but not end up buying a $200 purchase and HATE the way it feels/Handles.

Buy the best-quality harness you can, but go on the cheap side for the dildo (something silicone, though, probably, as bad materials are never worth it).

If I had the money to buy the expensive one I wanted right off the hop then I'd go for it. You'll get around to trying it out sooner or later so why not go for it?

I would go in the middle unless you know you will love the more expensive one.

If you don't know if you're going to like it then get a decent silicone dildo first and try out the toy first in whatever orifice you will be using. If you like that then go harness shopping.

A dildo can always be repurposed if you decide you aren't going to use it for strapon.

After having started cheap, gone to middle of the road and finally expensive, I wish I had just started with something well built. It would have saved money in the long run.

I'm trying to save for a Spareparts harness, so I feel your pain.

I would go middle of the road until you figure out what you like and try a few different dildos. Also, when I bought my first one I didn't take into consideration the "fit". I'm kind of on the small side and the one I got didn't stay put! Drove me crazy. Make sure the size is adjustable. One size does not fit all when strapping it on! Strap on's are great fun though! Enjoy

If you know you like strap-on sex and you know what you want in a dildo, invest in quality.

If you don't know that you like strap-on sex and you don't really know what you want in a dildo, do further research (perhaps hook up with someone who has lots of toys and figure out your preferences up close) before buying.

Buying crappy dildos might make you think you don't like dildos. Get something at least semi-decent.
