Send him some favorite baked goods, favorite soap and shampoo, absolutely some pictures of you in special outfits ( you can get some new toys like a flogger and have them in the pictures), anything that reminds him of home that he doesn't have there.

You can send him photos, but not porn type one's. You don't want to get him in trouble. If he is in a war zone (especially in the middle east) that can buy him far more trouble then he needs (assuming they are not confiscated first). Thanks to him for his service and thank you for standing by him, as he serves.

Our friend, who was in the army till just a few months ago, is over right now, and just piped up that one of the best things he got as a gift, while in Iraq and later Afghanistan, was an MP3 player loaded with his favorite tunes and a solar pocket size battery charger, so he could charge up the AA batteries wherever he was. He said that "sun" is in plentiful supply over there. He also thought it was great when he would get a DVD of his favorite TV shows, recorded by his wife and sent so he could watch it on his laptop.
