Honestly, I don't use them frequently enough for it to really matter to me. A single set of batteries can last me a year, so having a rechargeable toy really doesn't hold much of a sway for me.

I've never had a corded toy, but I really do love my rechargeable toys!

I find it difficult to keep things recharged, so tend to go with regular battery powered toys, but if they made a "universal" power system...like with tools, I would sure buy one rechargeable unit that could be put into a bunch of different toys!

From that aspect, true. However, I am not sure they really use that much electricity..and they tend to be very expensive toys (higher end).

Too funny. It's why we stock up on 20 packs of Alkaline's.

However, we have noticed that Alkalines last a whole lot longer.

Rechargable toys, because the toy is likely to die before the batteries and there's less parts to lose.
That's a good point.
