Do you hate bows on lingerie as much as I do? I stopped buying clothes with bows on them when I graduated the eighth grade. Why do manufacturers insist on putting bows on something that is already clearly feminine?

I think some companies really overdo it (Ahem, Coquette!), but I don't mind them. I like products like the latest bustier I got where the bows are removable!

Worst product ever: dresses with huge bows on the chest. It makes me feel like the company is trying to make me look like a present.

I only like small subtle bows that blend in. Once the bow stands out it's just too much and becomes too much and looks a bit tacky to me.

I sometimes like them, and when I don't they are usually pretty easy to remove.

I think some pieces look fine with bows on them. A lot of bras seem to have a small bow between the cups, which isn't bad looking.

If it plays into the cuteness of the item... I don't see a problem but I suppose anything can be over the top depending on the item.

It depends. There are certain items, usually corsets, that I find bows works well as accents on.

I have to agree with the majority on this, it really depends. Although I usually dispise bows, I have bought some items that have them and it wasn't so bad. Most of the things that I have bought with bows, they are relativly small and not to noticable. However, huge blaring bows I woud not buy, it would be too much.

The teeny bows right on the front are sometimes ok, even then I usually cut them off.

It depends on what the lingerie is. I have a few pieces that the little bows are perfect and others that I hate them on. Usually the bigger the bow, the less it works for me.

I voted it depends on the item too. I am not a huge fan of bows in general, and I don't like them on my actual clothing, but I think sometimes they really do look cute on certain lingerie items. On other lingerie items I just take them off, it's usually pretty easy.

Not a fan of bows on lingerie. My wife has had some garter belts with a very small bow in front center which was okay as they were so small that you hardly noticed them. Maybe I was looking at something else

I like sexy lingerie that's a little cute, so I'm ok with a few kinds of bows. The tiny ones are ok, and a couple of pieces with larger ones are good (certain corsets look beautiful to me with bows in the back). I think I have a problem with them when the entire outfit is cutesy. Like black with some bows is good, but white and bows just remind me too much of my old Sunday baby dresses.
And it kinda depends on the mood I'm in...
