It depends on the item. I have socks with bows on them which are very cute. Other outfits don't look as good with bows on them.

I love bows, but only the small pretty ones that add to an item. One of the last lingerie sets I got had neon pink, small bows on the straps that tie around the neck (they were on the chest part of the straps) they actually looked beautiful. They were also on the thong (just one small one in the middle) and those are ok because a lot of times they add character and color, but I do not like big bows at all!

On lingerie I love bows but when I get a bra I hate bows incase I want to wear it under an everyday shirt

I don't mind. It depends on the garment. I wouldn't want hot pink bows on a PVC cat suit (for example)

It just depends on the item for me. I will often cut them off if they're only sewn on with a thread and it won't ruin the fabric.

One bow here and there does not bother me. It only bothers me if the item is covered with them, or the item already has enough things going on.

Manufacturers put bows on lingerie because men like seeing bows on lingerie. We are dumb enough to think that because a woman has little pink bows on her panties, that she is clean and innocent.

Ha! Cheeky answer, but that doesn't explain why my husband hands me a pair of scissors every time an order from EF arrives and the lingerie pieces have bows on them.

It really depends. Where is the bow? Does it compliment the overall appearance of the outfit? Is it big? What color is it? etc

It really depends on the item and whether or not the bow will untie. I hate when the bows untie and get's wrapped around something or causes knots.

It depends on the lingerie. Sometimes they are a nice color contrast or they accent the piece well, other times bows and ruffles end up making you look like little bow peep or something.
