Well I bought a few pairs at Frederick's of Hollywood a year ago. They were boy shorts. The extra fabric just ends up riding up anyways because the crotchless part consists of 2 straps. I haven't bought any on EF yet but I have looked at some and I'm considering the butterfly crotchless panty. It seems like there wouldn't be any extra fabric adding to the two straps that are already there.

My first pair was a thong that came with a baby doll set I got from another company. I just ordered around 4 pair of crotchless boyshorts from EF I can't wait to try them on. My partner requested them

I only "tried" on the crotchless thongs I have never really wore them other then that. Haven't had a chance to try on my boyshorts but I prefer boyshorts over thongs anyways and my partner does too
