I just texted my sister. I have been ordering a lot of lingerie lately and some I like and some I do not. Anyhow I asked her if she would like them. Not like the thongs and panties, but like babydolls and gowns. She told me no, because they were used. I am like what, it is not really different than borrowing one of my dresses.

What do you think? Would you take handy me downs when it comes to lingerie?

Oh ... hand ME downs ... I was wondering what a 'handy down' was.

Just full slips from thrift stores. Haven't had much luck finding other types of lingerie (in my size) there. Or to my taste. It's really a lot to do with taste more anything else when it comes to previously owned lingerie.

I woldn't have a problem with it if they were in great repair and I knew the person. I wouldn't take thongs or panties but gowns or babydolls would be ok.

If I'd borrow that item of clothing from a person in general, I'd be ok with lingerie from them too. So babydolls and chemises and the like I'd take from just about anybody, and I would accept the thongs or other bottoms from my sister or a close friend and would wear them after washing them.

If I had a sister or close friend I would take them in a heartbeat. Chemise and babydolls are nothing. I wouldn't even care about teddy's as long as it was family b/c you can wash them and they're as good as new and I'd have more lingerie for me. Win/Win in my opinion.

I'm wondering who to give some old lingerie of mine to as well... I don't have a sister.

I also have quite a few sets of lingerie I've purchased recently, but I only fit into the bra or the chemise and not the thong that came with them, so I have a collection of unworn (didn't even bother trying them on, I can tell they are too small, yay for being a pear shape, haha) thongs that I have no idea what to do with, haha. I'd feel odd asking around if anyone wanted them.

I guess it's just depends on who gave it to me, and if it was clean or not. If I got it, and it had cum stains everywhere, then I'd have to throw it away, but if it looked nice, and was washable, then I'd probably keep it.

I agree with the original poster. There is nothing wrong with it. My sister & I live a minute away, so I love showing off my new lingerie. I am going to get her into start writing reviews on EF. I figure that way if one of us should get a lingerie set one of us don't like we can trade.

Now I would not trade thongs or panties. But the babydolls and other night gown style lingerie I don't have a problem with trading. However, I would only trade with my mom & sister.

For instance I had weight loss surgery March 26 this year and I have lost 116 pounds. I have 30 more pounds to loose. So as of right now I can now wear a large in lingerie but soon a large will be too big on me. So I plan on passing the lingerie on to my sister.
