I'd have to go back and count but I think I've reviewed something like 33 or so pieces of lingerie in the last month or so. Some were corsets which I realize can be worn out in public ...

Still yet, I'm thinking this is really too much and I'm trying to cut it down.

How many pieces of lingerie do you own? Do you ever feel like you have too much?

I tend to be a "collector" and get a ton of stuff and never wear it that much and then still want new stuff. I don't want to do that again.

Anyway - just curious how much y'all think is "enough" or "too much" or whatever.

Nighties - babydolls, chemises, gowns, etc. - over 100.

Corsets - 6 (4 from EF, 2 from Frederick's).

Bras - Probably about 30 or so.

Panties - ??? Maybe 40 to 50 pairs.

Bodystockings - 4 (4 more than I need)

Camisoles - 4.

Thigh highs/stockings - 10 to 15 pairs.

I have about 4 lingerie outfits that I wear often (like more than once a month) and a couple more that I wear occasionally. There's a lot more stuff that I see that I think I would love, but really I don't get a chance to wear it often enough to justify getting it especially if I have to pay money for it. I don't really count my everyday underwear in this because I usually try to "dress up" into nicer lingerie for the bedroom.

I'm not really the collector type. If I have too much of something I have no problem geting rid of it. If I had 33 pieces I'd definitely want to reduce my collection down a bit

Seriously though - that does make me feel better.

I'm going through today and trying to decide which ones I'd like to get rid of in order to have them all fit in one space (drawer/closet whatever).

*lol* It's severe, I know. Lingerie is my main fetish. I am addicted to it. Sometime, I will have to post a picture of my closet.

Right now I have it in piles all over the bed. I came out and said to my husband, "you didn't really plan to sleep in the bed tonight - right? you don't have your heart set on it?"

He looked at me and smiled and said, "Sleep? Not really...." with a laugh.

I then explained that I'm trying to sort lingerie into piles by type, etc. and how I like them and that I'm about in tears with frustration.

He was like, "just do what you can...don't stress over it...".

Right.

I don't know - I mean - I like lingerie but it's like I have so dang much that I don't use the pieces I enjoy the most cause I can't find them easily!

I model for a living and typically only use my own lingerie for shoots so I doubt I'll ever have 'enough'. Lol. I have a special box and a couple drawers that I use to store all my pieces. They're sorted by panties, hosiery and one pieces.

I have about 150 pair of panties, 1 chemise, 1 corset, 2 bras, and 2 babydolls. I have WAY too many panties, and I'd have more bras if I could find ones that fit! I could seriously wash my panties every 3 months and still be fine and not run out.

I only have three pieces of lingerie right now and a bunch of underwear. I think how much is too much depends on each person and whether they wear their stuff or not.

I'm exactly the same way. "OOoooh, those all look pretty, I want them all" and then only end up wearing a handful on a somewhat regular basis.

My husband would say I have too much because I have a drawer full and I don't end up wearing most of the stuff very often. Mostly because I forget about it while it's in the drawer, lol. I'm going to go through and clean out stuff I don't want anymore and hang up stuff I want to wear more often though.

I can't even begin to count.

So far I've kept everything (other than stuff I returned), with the exception of a corset I sold on the classifieds that was now like 2 sizes too big. I think it's probably a good idea to go through now and then and clear out a few items you know you're not going to wear, but so far I don't have much I would get rid of!
