I am a lazy launderer! I would say I usually don't!
It says to wash before wear... do you?

I'm entirely too lazy. Plus, our washer is broken.

Depends on if I can see any obvious signs it needs it, or if it has an odd smell to it.

Sometimes I will, but most of the time I just go ahead and wear things right away. Never had any real issues with it, but I know people who have had some irritation or other issues from clothes they just bought.

Depends on the garment, where I bought it and if there is a reason for it--smells, sizing, etc.

i always think of two things, one...what if someone tried it on. 2nd I worry about chemicals put on the clothes and bedding for storage. (Years ago i saw something on tv and have been freaked out since)
i also had a girlfriend that wore jeans before washing them, and by the end of the day her legs were died blue.
so clothes, towels, all of it, i wash first.

I usually do because of the chemicals and dyes involved.

I think I lied... I hardly ever wash! I know that is horrible, especially considering I'm a clean freak. I just can't ever bring myself to wait.

I don't usually unless the material is harsh or smelly.

I always wash everything before allowing my family to wear them, cannot stand the lint that's attached on new clothes, and who knows whether someone else has tried them on or not! There is one exception though, I don't wash sweaters that are made of real wool like angora and lambswool, those I'll let the dry cleaner take care of them.

When it's underwear, yes. I don't like nasty things touching my privies.

I ALWAYS wash new clothes before wearing them. There are chemicals put on new clothing that you do NOT want on your skin.

My wife used to wash them before wear new lingerie, because dyes must be washed out. It is not safe to wear it unwashed.

I don't normally with clothes although I know I should

I'm somewhere between 50/50 and never. I try to wash new things before I wear them, but I'm really lazy and most of the time they just end up put away.

I always wash things before wearing. Sizing(the junk they put on new clothes to make it look nice and wrinkle free when it's new) makes me ill and often I have to wash clothing twice.
If I'm putting a load in and the garment is machine washable, I may put it in there. But, usually, I wash my lingerie, panties (new) and bras by hand anyway. It only takes a few minutes (except for the soaking, which doesn't really take that lone) and then rolling in a towel and air drying on a drying rack.
I have no idea where that piece of clothing had been, who touched it, what it was exposed to, where it was stored or shipped with and how that could have effected it and I am always very careful with things that touch my body. Also, I'm always afraid that someone wore it before I did. EW! So, I wash everything before wearing or using.
Clothing made in some countries can have sizing in it made from chemicals that are banned in the USA, so I am not going to take a chance on getting sick just to save some time.

New lingerie is easy to wash before wear. Dunk it in the sink with soap and water and hang dry; it takes no time at all.

I would say I'm 50/50. It depends on the garment and where I got it from. A t-shirt vs. lingerie (for example). The lingerie is far more likely to get washed first than the t-shirt.
