I always wear underwear with my pantyhose because I always viewed pantyhose somewhat like pants. Something that I should be able to wear a few times between washings barring any major spills or accidents.

HA! I have never in my adult life worn pantyhose with panties... It's got panty in the name for a reason. Most panty hose I wear (not lingerie type) have a crotch liner in them and the good kind have built in panties or control tops. You are not supposed to wear panties with that. I can only imagine doing this if you are wearing something really short with nude pantyhose, but that is of itself sounds silly. I don't wear pantyhose with anything that has the potential to flash anything in the first place.

I wear pantyhose as a substitute for pants when I don't want to wear dresses. (regular pants and jeans make my vulva chafe). I feel that there is no reason to wear undies with them, because they all have panty liners and they'll catch all of my discharge and I don't have to stress about it.

It depends on what else I'm wearing. If I've got a tight dress on, I won't wear panties with my pantyhose because I like how they smooth me out and panties just create new lines. If you can't see a panty line and/or I would feel uncomfortable not wearing panties, then I wear them.

I like cotton next to my crotch, not nylon, and those "cotton crotches" on pantyhose are so small, my body can't breathe. I rarely even wear pantyhose, I wear stockings with a garter belt, which lets more air in. (And according to My husband is sexy as can be.) I wear panties with those, but often I wear side tie panties so he can get at me as soon as we get home! With side ties, you can slip the panties off by untying them and leave the stockings on.
