I've used so called 'numbing' lubricants before and see nothing wrong with them.

Here again it's about choice and common sense - like the earlier post about selling jelly toys. When used carefully as directed the products can be used safely by many - but not all. Let the consumer decide what's best for them.

Eden officially takes the stance that numbing agents should not be used anally. All numbing anal lubes were removed from the site a while back.

Apparently not - as you point out. I'm still libertarian on this one. It should be a consumer decision.

I am personally against numbing agent anal lubricants, but I know many friends that swear by them. So I do agree, it is a personal decision by the consumer. Exactly like with jelly and other porous toys.
People still buy them. Even if they are less than fantastic.

That is a personal choice.
