I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about people using it for lube now & im just so unsure about it.
Yep, coconut oil can work as a lube, especially if you’re into natural options — it’s super smooth and smells great. But just a heads-up: it’s not latex-safe, so don’t use it with condoms.

Also, raw coconut oil isn't pH balanced for vaginal use, so it can sometimes mess with your natural flora (UTIs, yeast infections, etc.). If you love the coconut vibe but want something safer for regular use, check out Cocolube — it’s coconut-infused, pH friendly, and designed specifically for intimacy. Way better than scooping from the kitchen jar ??I personally used it..

I also have heard this....SEVERAL TIMES NOW....OVER A DECADE! The first time I remember it trending years ago and at the time I was often shopping at a local natural/organic style market regularly for specialty products. The woman that worked there had given dozens of wonderful recommendations in my time going there and I had learned so much from her in my time shopping in her store.....UNTIL.... one day we chatted on this subject that at the time was trending and she said she had used that method personally for years. After all the wonderful advice and recommendations I thought to myself if she used it it's gotta be great so I decided to try it myself.... and let me tell you.... I WILL NEVER AND I DO MEAN NEVER EVER EVEN CONSIDER THAT AS AN OPTION IN EVEN THE MOST DESPERATE OF TIMES! It may indeed work for some people.... but when and after my misfortunate reaction to using it ((down there)) I did a little deeper diving online and wish I had done so before hand. There seems to be too many mixed reactions for it to be something I would personally consider trying (at least had I had the knowledge before I was feeling froggy and tried it myself without researching further) Again *Personally* I would give it a -10000 out of 10 but if you are interested and maybe less sensitive to products (even natural or organic etc etc) overall then do your thing but I just want to share my experience in hopes it may prevent someone from jumping right in and trying it without really thinking about whether its even personally a good fit.... EXAMPLE.... for me im already a very sensitive skin girly and have often had problems with any and all of lube type products (except my one and only that I stick to buying over and over) and I probably should have known it would be an issue for myself.... however giving that it seemed like the way more natural option then my "safe go to product" I thought surely it would be ok....

PS/Facts to note:
1) I used the safest and best kind on the market (At the time when I had a HORRIBLE reaction requiring medical attention)

2) It was honestly awful from the start ((Even PRIOR to my horrible reaction)) it was just a sad/pore excuse for a "lube/lubricant"
