I find they're not even worth the extra money or "fun" because they're so sticky. If there's a product that doesn't come with this problem I'd like to hear of it.
Do you find edible lubes too sticky?

I think they are unnecessary, usually taste bad and are messy. Not a big deal here.

I just thought I'd note that the Dona body drizzle isn't actually lube. It's just meant to be applied and licked off. As for actual flavored lubes, I haven't tried any yet so I couldn't tell you.

Dona's kissable drizzel really is not sticky at all. it is sily feeling. not tacky at all. but it is not intened to eat i think. it seems heavy in your mouth and leaves a after taste . but the taste rinses out of your mouth with just a sip of water

I haven't bought any yet but just going off a hunch here is sugar an ingredient? Ya know as part of the flavor. Have you ever got sugar water on yourself?

I got some of the Wet Strawberry lube at a drug store in a pinch. I'm not really a big fan and I find that it grows too sticky for my taste after awhile.
The thing is, the lube doesn't necessarily have to have a "taste," but if I'm lubing him up for a hand job and then go down, I'd rather not have icky lube taste in my mouth. I did this once with Maximus by accident. It's like licking rubbing alcohol. I love Maximus as a personal lubricant, but the taste is atrocious. Then again, I realize it's not meant for that.
I've looked at Good Head and such, but most everything seems to have a stickiess factor. If there were just a TRUE unflavored lube, I'd be happy.

I had one before that was a spray one and it taste good and wasn't to sticky. I cant remember the name. It was something like h2o explode.

Jo H2o is perfect! I love the flavors and it's not sticky. I wrote a review of the raspberry if you want to see.

I would assume that any edible lube will be too sticky because it is probably made with a higher content of glycerin/"sugar" in it. This would make it more of a syrup consistency than watery.

I have never really cared for the edible lubes, they're extremely sticky.

I've always had an issue with sticky edible lube, which makes me wonder why they are so sticky. And then I just think too much about it.
