For anal lubes, I usually look for something that is on the thicker side and lasts long because it sucks to have a lube that dries up too quickly when using a toy anally. I recommend Ride lubricant and Maximus.

Pjur Back Door lube is silicone based with botanicals. Very comfortable and compatible with the glass toys we use most.

I second Maximus. With an anal lubricant I consider two factors : Longevity and consistency.

I want to be able to use a lubricant for as long as possible without having to reapply.
I also want to have a thick feel that is comfortable.

With anal toys I use KY, with fingers for anal I use Astroglide; it never dries out! Only a small amount is needed, so with it being a more expensive product it lasts longer.
