Lube ingredients that cause UTIs?

Contributor: Vurdalak Vurdalak
Hey everyone, I've just had a bad experience with Astroglide (I'm new ) and I wanted to ask you all about your experiences. I recently got a UTI for no apparent reason and after doing some research here in the forum I've concluded that the culprit may have been the glycerine in Astroglide. Are any of you prone to UTIs after using lubes with glycerine? Are there any other ingredients that can lead to UTIs?

I haven't ever gotten a UTI from a lube and I've used quite a few of them. The only UTI I have gotten was because I did not use the restroom right after sex, which clears bacteria and lube out of your urethra.

Yeah, I've gotten them for that reason too but I strongly suspect it was not for that reason this time. Hmm. I have to do more research. Plus I can't believe how many different lubes Eden has

Glycerine usually does it. I'd look into Sliquid Organics or Maximus.
