Have you ever used a lube that contains L-arginine? If so, does it work well?

I think this is an amino acid. I'm not sure what its intended purpose would be in a lube. Since I'm not alergic to it I am not on the lookout for it. I will check my labels. I need more info to answer your question though.

Supposedly it is to increase blood flow to your genitals, so I was wondering if it actually made increased sensations.

I looked at everything I have and nothing contains L-arginine. Sorry. It sounds interesting! If you find something good please share it with me. I did see an arousal cream that has it. It has one positive review and one negative review. It needs more reviews! I have tried a couple of arousal gels/creams and I can't tell that they make any difference, but I am always willing to try again if it is paraben and glycerine free and has good reviews.

I answered this somewhere else. Arginine is an amino acid that is supposed to be a precursor to Androgens and also supposed to bring blood flow to the area, resulting in better penile and clitoral engorgement, thus better feeling and maybe stronger orgasms.
Some people are quite sensitive to it and avoid it. Anyone with any form of HSV (herpes, cold sores, anything in the herpes family) can be triggered by using L-Arginine. These people need to stay away from it.

I just wrote this is a review:
"Arginine- a natual amino acids that is important for cell division, healing wounds, removing ammonia from the body, immune function, and the release of hormones. It should not be inhaled by those with asthma, but it has shown to have some medical uses for many different uses. "

I didn't know about the HSV sensitivity. Seems risky, especially since so many people have simplex. Thanks for the warning!

Yikes! Nevermind then. I've gotten cold sores all my life, so I think I will avoid this.
