I'm wondering what would be an ideal lube to use with a Silicone toy in the shower? I always use water based lube with my toys but water based is just not doing much in the shower and it's driving me nuts!

Silicone lubricatns! Be forewarned though, most silicone lubricants take a fair amount of soap and scrubbing to remove from skin and if you use a silicone lube anally you'll have to um...well, I'll let you fill in those blanks -- the body does not absorb silicone. So there's that little downside to consider...

My suggestion is to try oil-based lubes like YES. It's all vegetable and body safe consisting of ingredients like shea and cocoa butter.

Coconut oil! As far as I've tried it's safe on all toys, is GREAT for your skin and smells wonderful (especially with the steam from the shower ^_^)

Coconut oil is a great lubricant but once you add soap to the water, its gone.
