I'm looking that it does something else besides just lubricate. I like the tingling and cooling sensations best.

I tend to buy based on what we need it for (toy-safe and thick for anal, long-lasting and easy to clean up for p-in-v, that sort of thing) in combination with other factors like price and availability. Packaging is important, too! I just bought a new silicone lube with a pump handle rather than click-style and I couldn't do without that feature in future purchases. So yeah.. everything!

I only buy Sliquid brand lubes usually. My main factors that I look for in a lube are that it isn't sticky, and that it is water based.

Ditto. I've also become more conscious of whether a lube has glycerin or parabens in it, so ingredients are an important factor for me.

Very rarely use it so don't purchase it too often, have always used WET though.

Ingredients, definitely, especially since I'm ridiculously sensitive and tend to have reactions to even the lubes marketed as being good for people with sensitive parts. Also whether it would be toy-compatible, how long-lasting it is, price, etc. There are a lot of factors involved for me.

Ingredients are most important to me, but I also take price, packaging, and brand into consideration.

I primarily look at the composition and brand, well-known brands usually have no problems with the composition of the lubricant.

I plan to only use water based lube, since safety is my biggest concern. I get that oil based supposedly feels really nice, but I'd prefer to be too careful over having a chemical reaction accident.

I'm also not really one for gimmicks.. The idea of warming is nice, but I've been scared off by horror stories of burning sensations. The only gimmick I'm a fan of is cum-like.
