Avatar/Alien Fleshlight - Questions

So I saw it and showed my bf and he thought it looked awesome and pretty. (He never saw the movie, but he's a sucker for 'pretty' masturbators, especially in blues.) So i am thinking of surprising him with it for Xmas.

However, he's never had a Fleshlight before. I heard you have to powder them. Can it be done to this one as well? Will it affect the color at all? Also, if I buy it and hold onto it for a few months before I give it to him, do I have to powder it though it's not being used? Will it 'melt' at all? Anything else we need to know since this is his first Fleshlight?

You are supposed to powder these. I would use cornstarch. I wouldn't think it would throw off the color. It might give it a dusty effect to it, but you can wash that off before use. It should not effect the color. You should be able to store this in a cool and dry place for months. I have no problems with mine. I think you may want to take out that tube that they put in the sleve for packaging. I would do this as to not forget, and your guy uses it without knowing, and ramms into something hard, and hurts himself.

I do not use my Fleshlight much, but when I do I notice I really do not have to powder in between usings. What I mean is that you can powder it and leave it for months. I might, If I were you, take it out, inspect it every now and again just to make sure.

Ah okay. i just worry about him taking care of it and all while still keeping it hidden form his mom. (His dad doesn't care, honestly.)

So when i get it would you recommend I take it out and immediately powder it? Or can it stay in the package with no problems?

Also, he lives in the south where it's humid. What's the best way to store it? Steal both ends and keep it sealed completely? Leave the ends open? Etc?

His first sleeve he just rolls up in an old shirt, but it's just a cheapie fake skin one that is tearing. His other one is Bad Dragon's Dragoness and that's pure silicone, so nothing special has to be done with that one. I also plan on getting him the black Tenga Flip Hole when I nab enough points to get it.

He likes it a lot. The texture inside tries to mimic a real vagina, so it's not completely ribbed, but somewhat wavey? It's also soft and pliable. However it has no warranty, and if you're up for it and want one cheaper, there might be some left over in the adoptions section.

However, some have said theirs have started ripping, same thing happened when they first made them and they tried to prevent it from happening again with this next set. Sounds cool. I've had issues with toys ripping, but that's mainly the cyberskin type ones that aren't long enough to fully accommodate me. It seems like you'd have to try pretty hard to rip a silicone one though.
I've never really tried much riding, but the Raptor sounds like it could be pretty cool as well. less

I got the Alien in the mail today; like the other Fleshlights I've bought from them it comes in a clear plastic clamshell pre-powdered with a tube in the center used for shipping. You should be able to leave it in this packaging till you give it to him no problems. less

Right, out of the box no as it came prepowder, after I washed off the powdered it was sticker then any of my other pigmented Fleshlights. It wasn't as stick as I've found the Ice ones can get but it was definitely sticker then the flesh-tone or pink colored ones. The blue on this has a sheen, the difference in pigment probably explains why these are a bit sticker. less

I don't know much about Fleshlights, I'm hoping to eventually talk My Man into it, but he's a little resistant right now, although he's crazy about toys for me. (Common Dom Behavior....he likes to DO things to me, but....well you know.....)

You asked about corn starch. You can get it at the grocery store. It's in the baking aisle. It comes in a box, and a good brand name, Argo, now comes in a sealable can. It's great, because I use it in cooking a lot, and the stuff in the box gets all over. And I doubt he wants a bag of powder in his drawer Especially with nosy parents. I bet his Mom has some in the kitchen he can grab, or you can. Or just go to the grocery store, go to the cooking and flour aisle and get some. It costs like, a buck or two. Cheap stuff. I used to use in on my baby's butts. (To keep them "lifelike." NO, we found out that talc isn't good for babies so we started using corn starch on their butts.) less
