I have a GF that we sometimes swap toys. Let’s face it some of these things are expensive and I would like to try it before I buy it or just show off something new that I really like. Anyway some times I feel a little weird when using a toy that I know she already used. (Yes we clean them before and after). What are your thoughts?

One of our top recommendations is not to share toys with anyone but your partner, and even in that case we suggest using condoms for hygienic purposes.
I understand the motivation, but health should come first. If you absolutely must share toys with your friend - although we advise against it - never skip proper cleaning and always use condoms. It doesn't matter if the toys you're sharing have no shaft - you can use dental dams as a protective layer.

Thank you for the advice. I totally understand the need for safety and cleanliness. My friend and I are very open with each other and have been friends for over 30 years. We have shared a lot more than just vibrators if you know what I mean. I was speaking more towards the psychological aspect. It always takes me a couple minutes to get over the fact that someone else was doing the same thing that I am doing.

Make sure you aren't sharing any porous toys. No matter how well you clean them, porous toys can't be sanitized. I wouldn't even share a porous toy with condoms.
I get what you mean about the psychological aspect. I don't think I could use someone else's toy unless it was a sexual partner. It would just be in my head that the other person had used it to masturbate and I'd probably end up picturing their face without wanting to,lol.
