The red is ribbed and the silver has a mountain texture. Those don't sound attractive to me.

We just got a red flip hole for his first one. Based on my research from reviews here, this one has the least intense texture and we figured less is more. At least for now.

Silver, I have the Red and Black so I would choose something different. After that the White will be next.

I bought the white one for my husband, and he was just too girthy for the thing! I tried using it with him once, and it actually scared me. He ended up giving it to his brother... that was a visual I didn't need

red for texture, silver for color. Depends on what you are looking for.
We personally ALWAYS would recommend the flip hole BLACK though, because it looks sleek AND has the most texture of all the tenga flip holes.
