Bubbles In Glass?

Contributor: Rin (aka Nire) Rin (aka Nire)
I noticed that my Bent Graduate has three or four teeny-tiny bubbles near the tip of the G-spot end. I've been using it without any mishaps, but lately I've been wondering if I should be more concerned. I know internal fractures aren't good, but I've never heard whether or not a few bubbles could be problematic.

Should I be worried about bubbles, even tiny ones, in my glass toys?

If you can't feel any imperfections on the toy itself, I wouldn't worry about it.

small bubbles are common inside your handblown glass. I wouldn't worry about it unless there are cracks or fractures

One more thing---because glass and air expand at different rates when you expose them to heat, I never boil my glass that has bubbles for fear the expanding air could cause cracks. The tiny ones, this probably won't pose a problem, but I don't really ever feel like risking it when bleach works just as well.
