I much prefer silicone for insertable toys, since it is much safer, and so easy to clean and/or sterilize. I would definitely avoid jelly since it is quite porous and (as far as I know) impossible to sterilize. Plastic...eh. I don't prefer it mostly because it isn't environmentally friendly, and I prefer the softer, slightly more 'giving' feel of silicone.

Silicone all the way! But plastic isn't too bad either. I try to stay away from jelly at all costs because of the low safety rating.

I much prefer silicone, because it's softer. But for an external vibe, I'll settle for plastic. It's less likely to jab me if it's not going in, and hard plastic doesn't mute vibrations like softer materials do. Actually...right now, all of my clit toys are hard plastic, and all internal toys are silicone.

NEVER want a jelly toy. I will always go with silicone as my fave but plastic is ok too.

I avoid jelly! Haven't tried silicone yet but when I do it will probably be my favorite. I've heard good things about silicone.

Silicone, I would never touch a jelly toy again. Plastic can be ok, but it's not a material I look for in a toy.
