Latex surface discoloration/deformit y and reaction... lube maybe?

Okay, I've never had toys interact with eachother badly or anything, but I purchased the latex stud link and, without thinking, used it with my normal everyday ID glide, which says it's water-based. Almost immediately afterward I saw a white splotch on the purple surface, that is raised and almost bubbly, and for the next 24 hours have had vaginal irritation. This of course happened yesterday, so unless I want a costly ER visit I can't see a doctor about it, but it seems to be getting worse. (I just now thought to try some benedryl, although I've used latex toys before)

Am I misunderstanding that those two things should work together? The rest of the toy other than the splotch seems to be turning pale, and although the texture hasn't changed, has a "dusty" appearance. Thoughts?

Huh. Unless the water based lube happened to be a hybrid, I really can't see any reason why it would have reacted with the material, although I can't think of another good explanation for why the reaction happened and how it's affecting you. If it doesn't get any better today, go see a doctor immediately. I know it might be expensive, but if I were in your position I'd rather know that my vagina will be ok.
