Great video! I loved watching the TPE ring turn to goo. I am amazed the same thing didn't happen to the silicone ring at such a high temp.

I appreciated the silicone putting itself out, but the flaming pile of goo was scary. This is why flame tests are so dangerous.

Right! It is sooooo why folks should not do this, if nothing else it should be done out side with a ABC fire extinguisher close by.
