I'm going to be placing an order soon for my mom because her birthday is coming up. I definitely want to get lotion or body wash of some sort. She likes anything that smells sweet (cookies and cake!) or something that smells very girly and pretty. She doesn't like the smell of tropical stuff, baby powder, or really intense fruity smells.

Do you have any recommendations? Thanks.

Ooh! The Milk Made Shower Cream smells like a raspberry cheesecake pastry. It's sweet and yummy. It's also wonderful on the skin.

You will either want something from the Principessa line which is more of a Victorian, powdery floral or from the CAKE line. Both products are pretty "heavy" on the skin though and I find a somewhat heavy chemical smell to them. Then again, I can't walk in any bath stores without coughing if I'm in there more than 2 minutes and walking down the detergent aisle of the grocery store is rough for me.

I'm not sure how much you want to spend - Principessa has a nice "took kit" which is 7 small products inside a pretty box. I did a review of it - it has two of their scents and includes shampoo, conditioner, shower pouff, candle, hand cream and I forget what else. That is almost $50.

It seems to me (and I could be wrong) that most CAKE products run in the $25- $30 range - at least the ones I've looked at. I don't remember any sets in that product line - but that doesn't mean that there aren't any.

You could also try the Dona line of products. I love the bath milk and lotion- in pomegranate and the body wash in mangosteen. DONA

I thought about DONA but so many of the products have a bit of a fruity smell to them. Blue Lotus infused products might be a good choice from that line. But I wouldn't recommend the pomegranate or mangosteen infused products since they are a fruity scent (somewhat).

I thought maybe the pomegranate because it wasn't too fruity. I agree about the mangosteen though that is a strong fruity smell. The goji berry wasn't strong though so that could work, maybe.

I think I'm definitely going to go with the Cake products. I think the duo is really awesome, it comes with the shower gel and the hand cream. I think I'll add one of the Principessa body poufs with it also! That's what I've got on my wishlist so far but I might change my mind later.
