I just put a great chest of drawers on lay away for my toys, it has 3 drawers across and 3 down equaling 9 drawers total. They are slightly bigger than a VHS tape. I plan on organizing my toys and batteries in them. I will post a picture when I get it home. I plan on using it for a night stand. It is approximately 3 1/2 feet tall. Has any one else purchased furniture for toy storage?

Not yet, but we're looking into something when we're more established.

That sounds like a great idea. I'll have to keep on the look-out for something like this for ours.

Wow, that sounds nice.

I purchased a large mechanics tool chest. The assorted drawer sizes make it easy to organize our collection, plus it has a lock to keep the kids out. We love it.

No, but I am currently using my "hope" chest as toy storage. It's the best place right now that is not a clear container. Though, I do wish I had a lock box to put them in for when we have guests (because they have small children who get into EVERYTHING).

I've been thinking about making a foot locker with dividers for most of ours.

My husband and I designated a closet for our toys and it has cabinets with locks so no one can get to them.

Awesome! I look forward to your pics. My Armoire is getting kind of full and would really like to see what other people are doing.

All our toys are at arms length in an ice bucket.

I don't have a large enough collection yet to need a chest of drawers. I keep my favorites close by in a Devine Toys box. The rest, including my husband's items, are in a dresser drawer.

Oh that's a great idea. Don't currently have room for another piece of furniture, but when I do, that will be high on the priority list!

That's great! right now all the lubes are on my husbands night stand and his c-rings. Then on my side of the bed there is make up bags full of vibes, and toys. Reflections hope lives under my pillow after it is clean and dry. and the hitachi is plugged in next to the bed. Quite scary if you stand back and look at it. Thank goodness I don't have curious kids. The kids are older and really don't care.

We use a vintage suitcase for ours. Locks and just looks like a decorator piece.

That sounds cool. I have an old steamer trunk in storage a long way from here or I would use that one also!!
