I'm finished with my collection at a grand total of 26 and it made me wonder is their a point were other people will call themselves finished collecting.Do you have a goal in mind of what would make it be finished or will you just buy as long as you can?

I don't really have a goal, right now I have probably close to 200 toys, and I don't plan to stop any time soon. I do tend to give away ones that I either didn't really use or that can be sterilized, to friends who want them. Other than that, I just keep stacking up

I don't have a goal. Either for the number of toys or number of reviews. I just take things as they come, if new toys present themselves, then I'll get them, and maybe write about them, maybe not.
My "goal" is to have a great sex life. Toys contribute to that. Aside from that, I have no goals regarding sex toys or reviews.

I have the same goal as P'Gell. I want a great sex life. I purchase/review toys that achieve that goal. I imagine I'll continue collecting toys that work for us until we run out of room or it ceases to be fun.

I have over 300 toys. I have no goal or magic number for stopping. I will say, though, that once I am not enjoying the toys or writing the reviews then I will quit. Until then--my eyes are wide open so I can enjoy my new experiences!!

Eventually I'll slow down, once I've got more than I need. At that point, it'd probably just be replacement as things break down or better options become available.

Toys break, the motor dies, the material degrades... While I have high hopes for the high-grade silicone in my collection to last a long time, I don't expect any of it to last forever, so I doubt I will ever stop buying toys. But I try not to outpace my storage space.

Nope. No goals in sight. I know I'll slow down soon as I've almost everything that I want... but this is me so once I've everything that I "want" I'll start buying the collection toys to compare them with other things. All in the hope of searching for the perfect toy*.

No it's mostly about trying new things. We get rid of older toys to keep the number from getting too high. However, I can see the frequency of purchases declining over time.

I'm at a point where I'm happy with the toys I have and could make do with them forever if I had to, but still want to try out more. I'll never stop collecting, I don't think. When I'm old people in my neighborhood are going to refer to me as "that crazy old dame with ten closets full of sex toys."
