Heart Warmer - Did I do this wrong?

Contributor: VioletMoonstone VioletMoonstone
I bought a couple of the heart warmers and I tried one the other day. It worked great and soon afterwards I filled a pot of water, put a washcloth inside, and put the heart on top. I turned the stove on and let it come to a boil and then I set the timer for 10 minutes. It looked completely clear to me when I took it out and laid it out to dry. However, the next day I looked at it and it was hard as a rock. =[

I boiled it again for about 12 minutes until it was completely clear again. I have it setting out on a towel on the counter. It's mostly liquid but there's cloudy stuff floating inside. I feel like I probably messed it up. Should I have boiled it longer next time or is it just a dud? I'm not really sure what I did wrong, if anything.

I also wonder how long can you let it sit out after use before you have to go run to the kitchen and boil it? I don't want to mess up my other ones and hope they last longer.

I noticed that you have to boil it for longer than instructed, although I don't remember exactly how long. I think I probably let it boil for at least 15 minutes or more. And I don't think there should be a difference if you boil it immediately or wait awhile.

Thanks. Surprisingly, the one I boiled longer last night is still good this morning. Maybe it's not ruined after all. I'll have to try it out later.

I have some of these. I just boil till they are all the way clear and don't really focus on the time.

if you boil it and it still has crystals...or its cloudy you should boil it a little longer till its completely clear then when its not warm anymore and it still in a liquid state you snap the dick inside and massage it for a minute or so and it'll get hot again...then it'll get cold and be super hard then all you gotta do is boil it again till all the crystals are gone

Yeah, I guess 10 minutes just isn't long enough. I'll have to remember to boil it longer next time.

In addition to longer boiling, I also let it cool off in the water and don't take it out til the water is cooled off too and I can just pull it out with my fingers. This always seems to work well with the Heart Warmer and the Hot Love ones as well
