I do not understand the thing with wearing them around. I mean, I know how you put them in and everything, I just don't know how to do exercises. I would feel awkward wearing them in public, yes nobody knows your wearing them, but, shouldn't that be in your bed?

Well, most of the exercises involve inserting the beads or balls and squeezing your muscles around them in a series of repetitions. You squeeze your muscles, maybe hold the squeeze for a certain number of seconds, then release, repeat. You can use gravity or pulling on the cord if there is one to provide resistance against your muscles. Basically, either you pulling or gravity working to draw the balls out while you use your muscles to keep them in. Wearing them about in public isn't necessary for you to achieve results, it's just an easy way to do it. If you don't want to, then just do the routines in bed or wherever you feel comfortable. No one knows you're wearing them and I personally don't have any issues feeling awkward or inappropriate. I wear them at work, out shopping, etc. It's recommended that you do kegels while you are about your daily business but i've never been able to remember and I have trouble feeling if I'm doing them correctly so having the balls in helps me with both problems. If you feel uncomfortable being around other people while wearing them, you could simply wear them at home when you're doing chores or whatever around the house. Personally, I find the exercise routines tedious and boring and have a hard time being motivated and fitting them into my daily routine. I have a hard enough time fitting in working out the rest of my body without setting aside special time for my PC muscles too. Incidentally, plenty of people combine the two by wearing the beads while they are working out, running on a treadmill, jogging, doing yoga or other exercise.
