I purchased this pair of bullnose clamps awhile back for use on myself, but I found that the heads are too large/heavy for my small nipples. I would like to find something more practical, but it can be difficult given that I have nipples that are maybe as wide as the end of a pencil eraser and don't protrude much at all.

I have been contemplating a pair of tweezer clamps, but I'm not sure if they will be a better choice or not. Can anyone give me a little insight as to what might be best for me?

I would try tweezer clamps before venturing into Clover (jaw) clamps. I'd recommend getting a set that is chained together. If those don't work, you likely aren't going to like any nipple clamps because they are all heavy.

Also, sounds like your nipples are too small for most. You might have luck with the Metal Worx ones. They won't apply pressure without you manually doing so, but the size might work.

I second this. I have small nipples also and the tweezer clamps fit me as well as the clover clamps. The clovers are pretty intense though, so start with the tweezers.

Thanks for your insight, everyone! Tweezer clamps it is. The weight only becomes a problem if it can't get a good grip on the nipple, which is where the bullnose clamps fail.

It helps to attach the clamp between the nipple and breast - pull the nipple out, then attach it to that thicker fleshy area just below the nipple. I'm able to yank on the chain with my teeth and pull back, and they won't ever pull off.
