Packers keep on popping up at the manufacturer sponsored assignments for me, and the more I see them the more I wonder about them...

I get the strap on mating, harnesses, dildos, clear to me...

I also got to know that packing can't be used for actual intercourse, it is rather for a kind of look, ladies with a masculine bottom through the pants and such, I understand, but I still don't really dig what's the point of it really, other than "showing such a thing off"...

I guess it is common among females who want to have more of a male look, but my, I still wonder about the whole thing!

Some men don't have penises. Some of them like to use packers.

I was about to post quite the same answer. Totally agree.
It's not about "showing off", it's either a sexual thing (as a kink, for fun, etc.) or a necessity.

Pretty much this.

I could be wrong, but my understanding is that FtM transgenders use them most frequently, followed by the groups listed here by Chirple.
