Paying more for a fancier toy?

If there were a toy which was not FUNCTIONALLY different from another toy, but looked much nicer and was made of fancier materials (both equally safe ie silver or gold over metal), would you pay a higher price for it?

It really would depend on how much more it cost, how badly I wanted the prettier one, what else I wanted/needed with my order and reviews.

Nope. I only bother with pricier toys because of their functional differences.

I suppose if the material FELT different or something, I might. If it was only cosmetic with no performance advantage then probably not.

^ This. I pretty much only care about functionality. Appearances only really affect what color I get the toy in, if there's a choice, and that's it.
