I'm a glass toy fan, myself. Here are some pros and cons I can think of off the top of my head..

Pros

-LOTS of texture options--nubs, swirls, etc.
-Can be excellent for g-spot stimulation for many women
-Easily cleaning

Cons

-Has NO "give" whatsoever
-Must handle and store with care

thanks for the info, I would like to get one, my biggest worry it that I would drop it and chip it or something like that,. I always seem to be dropping things..

Yeah i've broken so many glass pipes and chipped them im too scared to buy a glass dildo that i'd put in my body. I am mildly interested in temperature play though such as slightly heating or chilling the glass, but overall i dont think im going to be using any glass products soon

I just reviewed my first glass toy (link), gotta say I was skeptical at first but came out a big fan. Here are the pros and cons as I see it for glass toys in general:

PROS:
No drag, super smooth glide
Nonporous
Hypoallergenic
Versatile
Easy to clean
Intense stimulation
Durable (more so than a glass pipe)
Retains heat/good for temperature play
Works with any type of lube
Visual appeal

CONS:
Unyielding, no give whatsoever, so warm up first
Can break if dropped from a high place onto a hard surface
Most of them aren't harness compatible
Not very realistic (if that's what you're going for)

Good list. For me, I would put unyielding in the pros section and add cold upon insertion to the cons.

This is a great list. I personally love glass and I only was recently introduced to it. I got my first in Aug, now 7 toys into it. Also you should read about the glass, it is special glass, like how the wind shield is special glass.
