Violet Wand

Contributor: Gunsmoke Gunsmoke
Listening to an episode of Sex with Jaiya (Oct-16th) I heard an interview with Victoria where she discussed electrical stimulation using something she called a "Violet Wand". It looks like having your own personal Tesla Coil!

Victoria - why doesn't Eden carry this type of toy?

Does anyone have experiences - good or bad with a Violet Wand?

I've wondered myself. I've never gotten to actually play with one, but I got to feel what they can do at a talk on Violet Wands.

Part of the reason may be that they're just too expensive. They're a very niche market kind of edge-play, and they're expensive. A good violet wand runs an average of $250ish, from what I've seen. Then, you need at least one electrode, possibly more, and it adds up fast.

That's my guess at least. If EF decided to carry them anyway, I'd be thrilled and overjoyed, and would be jumping up and down begging to review one.

Good quality Violet Wands must be used with extreme caution - they can really hurt the receiver. I do think my days of wielding one of those suckers is over.

Y'all need to keep in mind that I am not the product manager/buyer for EF... you can suggest it in the "EF should carry" thread or send Rufina an email. We do find that people often suggest we carry products, but then don't actually buy them. We don't like to have tons of lovely products waning in the warehouse, ya know?

Victoria - thanks, I'm not really surprised that this product is a bit too edgy - but EF does carry some fairly expensive products like Njoy's Eleven.

My real goal is to hear from people that have used them and either liked them or not. I gather from your comments that you don't find the experience pleasant.

My wife and I are not into BDSM or pain.

Hopefully a few more will share their experiences.

I have no first hand experiences with the wand to share, but they use this product on Wired Pussy at Kink.com all the time. It seems VERY stimulating, as do the other electrostim toys they use. However, it also seems pretty scary.

I have one electro toy with a tens patch (like my physical therapist uses), a very light version that uses a small battery. Even this little, tiny pad can hurt, though. If you're into pain, good. If you're not, bad.

That makes a lot of sense. I realize that it's not something most people are interested in, and that many of us that are just can't afford them. That's why I didn't bring this over to the "EF should carry" thread: I didn't want to request that you carry something that I can't afford to buy, but I was as curious as Gunsmoke as to why you didn't carry them. Thanks for the info, though!

I've had a violet wand used on me many times. They're fun; on low settings they tickle and prickle, on higher they straight out hurt.

Victoria is correct, though, in that they can be dangerous.

Oh - I didn't mean that I don't enjoy it... I was the one wielding the wand, after all. My husband is not into pain, so I really have no reason/occasion to use it.
