What happens to the toys you don't like?

I'm sure most of us have gotten toys at some point that we didn't fall in love with (whether it's an uncomfortable shape, lower quality, free gifts, etc) so what does everyone else do with those?

I usually just throw away toys if they don't do much for me and I recently weeded through my whole collection and got rid of everything I wasn't crazy about (and pretty much everything I bought when I first started getting into sex toys) so my toy box is now down to just my few favorites. If I get free stuff that I don't need I save them for friends.

I've seen people with hundreds of toys in their collections so I've been wondering if other people just keep everything they get regardless of whether or not they enjoy the toys? (And if you keep all your toys, does your collection ever feel cluttered with things you don't use often? Do you keep giving the bad toys second chances?)

I'd really love to know what happens to all the unloved toys out there.

If I can find someone to give it to then I will, but otherwise I throw it away. No sense in keeping something that I don't like

I sometimes keep them until I'm sure that I do want them. Then depending on the quality I give them away, sell them, or throw them away.

I keep them and try them again at a different time. I have grown to like some of them.

You know, I do save some to re-try later and see if I change my mind, but only things that don't cause problems right off. Some things it is clear I will never use, so I keep them until I can give them away, trade them, or possibly sell them.

I keep mine in a separate box from the toys I actually like, but then again, I do tend to hoard things. If a toy was BROKEN, I would toss it, but if I just don't like it, it seems like a waste.

If it's started to burn form phthalates, then we throw it away. If it's an egg or something with a motor, we keep it because m husband is VERY handy and can repair anything with a tiny motor, so we keep the old ones for parts.

Some that are unsafe materials or horrible I throw away....most of the time they sit there unloved and unused.

As long as they can be safe to share with someone else I will give them away to someone that might like them. I have gotten some that are not safe to share and I keep them for a while and then just throw them away. I have not been doing this for years so I don't have a large toy box but hope to have that some day. I already have the chest to use for it now to get the collection going.
I have friends that also write reviews here and I have been known to pay it forward with toys that I might like a little bit but not really a lot and then they can also write a review. I have found some things that I just do not like and do not try out more than one time. Others it might take a time or two to really decide if I like them.

some toys I know I'll never use again I've given to a friend. the rest just sit in a drawer w/ me thinking that I may try it out again some day. there have been a few extremely nasty smelling ones I've thrown away.

I've learned that over time, my tastes change, even in toys. I keep the toys around that I don't like just in case, I've found myself digging around in my "rarely-used" toybox more than once!

On my budget, I can't afford to throw anything out, so I keep everything. My taste in toys is relatively simple, though, so I can find a use for them. For a lot of them, I just don't use them because they are loud, so I save it for a miracle day when I am alone.

They go into the case under the bed and get ignored. May try them out in the future again to see if I still don't like them, but other than that just about forgotten.

I'd keep it probably. Maybe toss it out if it's just horrible.

Depends on the toy. If it was expensive and/or just not my cup of tea, I keep it in case I ever change my mind. If it was cheap and annoying, though, I'll just toss it.

They sit in a basket for a bit and when I'm sure we won't use them again I throw them out
