I don't have any friends whose sex lives I care about enough to spend more than 50 bucks. Sex is the only thing that can get you over that hill. Still, the hitachi wand goes for less, and it's the best thing out there.

I've been thinking about getting my bestie a toy for her birthday/christmas since they're close together. I have a thing for high quality vibes and would feel weird getting her something I personally wouldn't like to use. She also has a huge thing for lime green, which makes me really really tempted to get her the lime green Lelo Liv. It's high quality but basic, versatile, nothing too offensive or anatomy dependent.
Now it's only a matter of whether I'll have enough $$ to do it along with gifts for everyone else!

Honestly, a $50 toy is good enough as a gift. I know the good ones, and I usually buy what I've already owned. I don't have tons of money to spend on my friends otherwise I'd spend more.

If they are a friend i would want to help them choose a toy together. That way they get exactly what they want. Price wouldn't enter into it. Always buy quality, you get what you pay for.
