You could try, if your boyfriend is willing to use a cock ring. Have you tried simply using a bullet or similar during sex?

The main benefit of a cock ring is to prolong the male's erection and also make it larger due to trapping more blood in the penis. I don't think you would be able to have better orgasms, but you might feel a difference in his penis.
