Jaz vs. Wedge - The Advantage of One Over the Other

Contributor: Checkmate Checkmate
We have been looking at both of these for some time. I (the male) have back issues which include lumbar fusion. My wife has hip problems as well as back issues.

So now we are asking for your help. What would be the advantage of either the Jaz or the Wedge? Other than a slight size difference, we really can't see that much difference.

Read the reviews on both. That is really your best bet because they will be able to give you specific info and then you can determine which would best meet your needs. I would think both would be good for back problems, but I really don't know. The wedge may just put more pressure on the back and hips.

We have checked out the reviews on both the Jaz and the Wedge. That is where our problem lies, the reviews for both are extremely positive and we just can't seem to pick one over the other!

I have both the jaz and wedge and have written reviews on each here and here.

My husband has frequent back pain and the liberators have been helpful. However positions we use with the jaz and wedge don't necessarily help HIS pain. They line us up easily and make ME comfortable. I imagine either one would help with your wife's hip pain. We use the ramp and other lib products that are not sold here to alleviate my husband's back pain during sex.

Because the wedge is larger it provides more stability. I always recommend this over the jaz. We use it for more positions than the jaz. Jaz is great because it is smaller and easier to store. We use it almost exclusively for variations of doggy. It's very nice, but the wedge is a bit more versatile.
