100% Silicone Rabbits

Contributor: Dame Demi Dame Demi
It's no secret I'm a huge fan of rabbit vibrators. I'm always happy to recommend my favorites--the Decadent Indulgence and Rabbit Pearl (Endless Pleasure is up there, as well)--to people, but I would like the option of having a 100% silicone rabbit to recommend. The problem is, I haven't yet found one with all the bells and whistles available in jelly or TPR versions.

I was wondering if anyone has a 100% silicone rabbit that is truly mind-blowing? My requirements are a clit stimulator that's more than just a nub and pearls in the shaft. The most promising I've found is Mary Mermaid, which I'll be trying out, but I thought I'd ask if anyone else had any other suggestions. Thanks!

Well, of course there is the possiblity that the decadent indulgence is TPR silicone..... After I posted the pictures of the box nobody really got back with me......

I did find this that I am interested in getting. link Eden doesn't sell it yet though... It says it's silicone but, I'm thinking it's probably more like TPR silicone too. It's too bad eden doesn't sell it though....

No, don't shut up! I'm looking for other recommendations besides the Mermaid. I'm dubious about the silicone claims on that one, too, because of the price, mainly, but am going to look into it some more. Thanks for looking for me, Oggins!

We've pretty much already had this discussion, but the Sally Seal is NOT the answer. I'm confused about the Mary Mermaid because it is also by Fun Factory and people seem to like it more, but the design isn't that different. Maybe it would hit your clit better, but I bet it still has the power problems that the Sally Seal has.

Dear Oggins, We are definitely bringing this one in. Although I don't think that this one is pure silicone. As I mentioned in other discussion it is enough to contain as little as 5% of the Silicone for material to be called Silicone. That's why we always perform smell test. If material smells then it is not Pure Silicone and we call it TPR silicone. And almost all products from major US manufacturers claimed as Silicone do smell or even slightly scented with some fragrance.

Decadent indulgence is most probably TPR. At least Decadent Indugence 3 is TPR. It is phthalate free though which is very nice.

We have brought Fluttering butterfly and are selling it now on the website. But I have to say that the BetterSex misleads their customers saying that it is made from Silicone. It is made of PVC. The package is kind of confusing as well - it say "Silicone base" actually meaning that control pack/battery compartment is made of Silicone. What's the point for having silicone battery compartment I am not sure - i guess it is more convinient to hold in hands. Here it is link with the review from Gabe.

I find it interesting that even the toy retailers are being misled by manufacturers.
I've often wondered if the retailer is touting the same features as the manufacturer even though they know better, but clearly that is not the case with EdenFantasys. I feel pretty comfortable trusting what you list as materials on your website because I know you don't want to misrepresent a product to potential customers. Thank you for letting us know.
By the way does softened PVC always equate to jelly or not?

I saw that it was now on the site and read Gabe's review but, I was really unsure on the material. I was holding out hope it was TPR but sheesh....PVC? Silicone control pack? Oh man...... Misleading indeed! That's why I trust Eden Fantasys so much! You guys are fantastic and clearing things like this up! Now I feel depressed for wanting to try it....... =(

While I don't know for certain, I do know that phthalates are used to soften PVC so, as for now in my book, they are basically the same. I'm guessing that about the only difference is that jelly melts faster?

Maybe I should clarify my question a little bit.
My understanding is that jelly, listed as a sex toy material, can cover a wide range of materials many of which contain PVC. But there is a separate listing for PVC here at EdenFantasys. PVC can come in two main varieties, soft and hard. Hard PVC is really something that most people would refer to as plastic. If it is soft PVC then I would think that it can just be considered jelly, but maybe it needs to distinguished because the manufacturer is making that distinction. Now, I believe some manufacturers use phthalate-free softeners in their PVC toys, so I think that it is possible to have phthalate-free soft PVC, which (under my theory) would also translate to phthalate-free jelly. I am not really sure about all of that, but it is curious to me.
I would consider this an attempted thread hi-jacking and apologize to DD for it.

Since I already hi-jacked this thread and forgot to mention something that I had noticed, I will go ahead and add it now.
While looking at the material page for Sil-a-gel it says PVC, but it is definitely a soft material, so doesn't that just mean it is jelly?

I can't believe I keep doing this, (there should be an edit button in the forums). The sex toy material portion of the reviews main page lists Sil-a-gel as a Thermo-plastic rubber (TPR) product, so which is it jelly (safety scale 2-3) or TPR (safety scale 3-6). My personal interaction with it, I would probably call it jelly, with a safety scale of 3, but that's just me.
