I tend to stay away from these comparative discussions unless there's really a reason to use one. But I'm considering getting a nice vibrator (even though I'm usually a dildo gal), and I want to find out both "Which one of these four would you like best?" and "Which one of these four do you think I would like best?" (Knowing my vibration preferences from Ina, which is that I like'em rumbly internally.)
So, here are the contenders:
Vr8, $145,
Vr9, $146,
Vitality, $140,
Uma, $109,
What are your thoughts?
A Nice Vibe for Antipova: vr8, vr9, Vitality, or Uma?

Well Uma is what I want next, but I'm not in any hurry for it. I also think Vitality looks very interesting. I don't know very much about the other 2. Good luck. Isn't shopping with your discount fun! I gave up waiting for the thigh harness to come back in stock and ordered the Wing yesterday.

I don't have any of these, but I think the Vr9 looks interesting.

I've held the Vr9 in person and I was disappointed both with the vibration strength and with how flexible it was. Of these, from what I've heard the Uma seems your best bet.

I have nothing but awesome things to say about the Vanity toys I've held and the one I own, except that sometimes the shapes are strange and don't work for every anatomy. The Uma looks pretty great too.
12/28/2011
I want all of them I think the Vr8 and the Uma would work best for me though.
12/28/2011
The Uma is quite good

I'm curious about the Uma, but I KNOW the Jopen line has strong and rumbly vibrations. I'm actually interested in both the Vr8 and Vr9, but I think the Vr8 has less flexibility for firmer G-spotting. If the Uma is strong and rumbly, then I'm definitely interested in that, too.

Gotta go with Vitality!
12/29/2011
I'm interested in the uma.
12/29/2011
Since I don't have Vitality, I'm going with that one for me.

I have the Uma already and I have the Vr9 on my wishlist.
Interesting to hear about the flexible-ness, though.

I love my VR9!

I think the VR9 looks cool.
I was tempted by the Jopen stuff but really didn't like the silicone on the 7 so that turned me off from the others.

I would go with Vitality.

I just got the Uma -- it's amazing!

I own some of the Jopen line and the Uma and would vote for the Uma.
Reasons:
The Uma has deeper more rumbly vibration compared to the Jopen vibes I have and the reviews on the Life line seem to suggest more buzzy vibrations.
Uma has irritating buttons that excessive force to depress but the Jopen buttons which are the same as the Life buttons are easily bumped and turn the vibe off.
Personally I think the Uma is quieter in comparison.
I prefer a smoother silicone and the Jopen line has a more draggy type of silicone and the Uma is more buttery silicone.
I personally need pressure for g-spotting. Depending on your pressure preference I know the Vr9 has a bit of flex to it and may be difficult for getting the right amount of pressure. Not sure about the flexibility in Vr8. Also the review on the Vitality said it was pretty flexible.

uma!

I'd definitely want the Uma. I like that it's a slick, uncomplicated shape.

I would go with the Uma. I want it myself!

Try the Uma, or Vanity

I would warn against the Vitality, simply because I have a Leaf toy and it's amazingly weak.

Based on review consensus on these brands and their non-rabbit vibrators, Uma looks like the best bet. Not everyone seems to like Leaf vibrations, and Vitality has kind of a weird rabbit shape that might not work for all bodies. I also like Uma's design and classic look better than the Jopens, and the vibration quality is great.

Feel welcome to tell me why!
A note, not sure if it matters, but I would probably prefer to use Vitality with both leaves internally.
I also have short nails, so I probably wouldn't mind sticky buttons, so don't let that influence you.

I chose the Vr8 for you, too, because look at that HEAD! I know that you also appreciate a nice, aerodynamic, arrow-shaped head (think Tantus Alumina Motion . . . at least that's what I keep thinking about each time I look at the Vr8 . . . Sigh).
12/29/2011
Okay, so after much thought I think I'm going with the Vr9 for you. The small end is less rumbly than the Vr8 is, but it has way better G spotting ability. I think that makes up for it. Plus the big end is just as rumbly as the big end on the Vr8.
The Uma is rumbly and strong, but it's rumbly at a higher pitch than the Jopen's. It doesn't seem to work as well for me for some reason. I'm not sure if that would be the case for everyone, but there's something special about that Jopen rumble, I think.
The only thing to take into account on Uma is that it is the most firm. So that may be a big selling point to that one. It also has the least curve of the ones listed and thus the least likely to hit the G spot.
On a selfish note, I want you to get a Vitality because I want to know what happens if you insert both ends!!
Deciding between three much loved toys is difficult. X.x I wish this was multiple choice.

I haven't tried any Jopen products, so I'm not really qualified to say. D:
I would probably nix the Leaf, though, at least for now - it's the weakest/least rumbly of those and I think the shape/configuration would end up being a miss especially with how flexible it's said to be.
The Uma is totally rigid (I don't have trouble with the +/- buttons, although the function one is a pest), if that helps.

Most people who are voting for Uma have never tried it. Don't buy into the hype, it's not that great..

Let us know what you end up getting. I will be jealous of you no matter which one you pick though
12/28/2011
From what I have read on these, I think Uma would be the best bet. Though I would love to see you review the Vitality. Since the leaf line is so new (and expensive), there is not a lot out there for reviews. I think the design of that one is very intriguing.
12/29/2011
From reading reviews on the Vitality, I have come to the conclusion that it will probably be a bit disappointing in the vibrations department. Also, it just sounds too darn flexible to do much.
The Vr9 has that delicious shape like the NobEssence Seduction. However, I'm a bit bummed to read how flexible the head on the Vr9 is. It would be perfect if Jopen had made it more rigid. Still, I think I'd get some good enjoyment out of it. I like the idea of being able to use both ends of this toy since they both look wonderful (even if the controls are on the thicker end, they might still be unobtrusive enough to make the thicker end insertable as long as the texture doesn't bother you).
As I've already mentioned, I believe the head on the Vr8 is less flexible than the head on the Vr9. Plus, I find the shape of the Vr8's head to be very intriguing. It just looks delicious for thrusting and looks as though it could be used for pinpoint clit stimulation as well. Since you prefer dildos (as do I), I think you'd appreciate a vibrator that could be used like a thrusting dildo.

I'm curious as well...Judging from the above comments, I'd say that Uma is the least flexible one. That's what I'd go with. But then again, I'm clueless...
12/29/2011
I hate that Uma is so overrated. I got one and it wasn't very strong or rumbly, so I sent it back. The Vr8 on the other hand, is strong and rumbly and got me to squirt just by using it clitorally. That is my choice for you.
