I know that metal in general does carry vibes better than silicone. How well silicone carries them depends on the type of silicone. I have one silicone dildo that is super rigid, but all the others are similarly flexible. The rigid silicone transmits vibes really well, but not as well as the metal dildo I have. Sometimes I find silicone eats the vibes a bit, if you know what I mean? I believe the more rigid the substance the better it transmits vibrations. (I don't have the particular model above, though, so take that into consideration.)

After seeing this thread, I went to look at this item. I agree the switching heads idea is great! I only wish they had more options, as well as an a la carte way to buy just the ends you want. I hope this idea takes off & we get more variety. I'd love some colored in that titanium rainbow finish that they do on some aluminum!
