Are Rabbits For Me?

Contributor: MeliPixie MeliPixie
So, I've been looking at all the rabbits this site has to offer, and I have to say, they look like a great deal of fun! I especially like the look of the Rabbit Rider, with its super soft skin and detachable bunny vibe (I'd SO put that on my boyfriend's cock >D ), but I don't like the unsafe material that it's made of; and I like the Jopen Vanity VR10, but not its price. I'd like to get a rabbit, but I'm not even sure they are for me. So since I don't have a LOT of expendable income, I'm going to raise probably five or six questions to help me out!

I have very specific sexual needs. First and foremost, I want a toy I can thrust with. I'm not sure, but I've heard somewhere that rabbit vibes are meant to be more hands-off, and rather than thrust they vibrate, rotate and gyrate, which looks fun, but I'm not sure if that'll do it for me. Also, I'm not a super fan of vibrations on my clit unless they're very, VERY pinpoint vibrations, and quite strong and heavy. I'm not sure a hands-off vibe can deliver that. Third, I know some women have trouble with the motor(s) stopping if she clenches down too hard, which would definitely be an issue for me, too. Then, I'm a little bit of a size/hardness queen (only when it comes to my toys). And anything that enters my genital area must be rated at the very LEAST an 8 on Eden's material safety gauge.

So what do you guys think? Are rabbits for me? Or should I be looking for something more like a(nother) traditional dildo and a really small but powerful bullet for my clit? For those offering their other suggestions, I am allergic to latex and other rubbers. I appreciate any and all help I can get!

I don't have a suggestion for you as far as products go, but I am pretty hands on with my Rabbits and I've never had a problem. I like thrusting too, but not every Rabbit has the rotating/twisting shaft/tip. There's a HUGE variety out there. Like bigger toys and had one Rabbit that was the perfect size but it was made of jelly and didn't last more than a few months before I decided to throw it away because the material looked compromised.

So I guess I'd say research research research. Check out the reviews, if you can see if you can take a look at some in person.

I'm going to have to agree with firekitten and say you need to go to the page with the rabbits. Select 8 on the material scale, and start reading reviews. There are a TON of different rabbit style vibes out there that are all very different. Personally rabbits aren't my thing because I haven't found one with enough oomph for my clit and the gyrating shafts just felt strange, but I've only tried 2 of dozens of styles. Good luck.

I agree. Use the resources eden has for picking out toys, from material safety, to vrooms, etc this is your best bet then narrow it down from there. The Thumper Has a similar shape that the Jopen Vanity. It looks simple enough to be good from thrusting, plus it's silicone. Maybe check into that.

I despise rabbits, for the following reasons. My clit seems to sit farther away, than most rabbits are capable of reaching. I belong to the Clit 'O Steel Club so it probably wouldn't matter anyway. My husband says I am a size queen and I love to thrust my toys. Unfortunately, most rabbits are not able to be inserted as far as I'd like.

If you find one that meets all your requirements, please message me and let me know what you decided on. Maybe it would work for me too.

Yes, clit o steel here too and those little fluttery ears look lovely but just don't get me there. Glad I'm not alone

I like to thrust my rabbits. The clitoral stimulation is kind of an insignificant accessory. I do not cum from it, and after the rabbit warms me up, I go more for direct clit stimulation.

You could thrust with some longer shafted rabbits, but everytime you do it would take the vibe off your clit, which may be problematic.
Granted you can't thrust with these, but I might consider Ina, Vr3/Vr6 (shorter, more for g-spotting length shafts) ... or of course, Vr10 (longer shaft)... all of which are pricey. Vibes on these guys are super strong and you might not miss the thrusting as much.
And though I haven't personally tried them yet, I've heard great things about the L'amour vibes, which run around $50.

I also agree with firekitten.

I really don't like the look of most rabbits. I don't think they'll work for me, I enjoy thrusting for g-spot stimulation. Better quality materials and functions seem to be more expensive. Before investing in a expensive rabbit, I'd keep experimenting with dildos and clitoral vibrators. I'd also look for a reviewer who has similar tastes. If that reviewer enjoys a high quality vibe then there's a good possibility that you'll like it too.

I've heard really good things about the Vr6 by Jopen.

I soooooooo sympathize with your plight. I'm in a similar boat, though for different reasons. But I'm super picky about material safety and there are so many jelly or otherwise sketchy material rabbits out there! I have not seen many high-end material toys that look like they would work for my anatomy and that's not even considering price point!

I haven't found one for me yet but I'm not going to give up hope that there is one out there for me. You just have to find it. However, I don't hink they'd be for you considering you want to thrust and you squeeze your pc muscles.

I have some of the same issues you had. I got a DR for Sugar pop and was pleasantly surprised. The clitoral attachment is flexible and the vibrations are super powerful! I can't believe how awesome they are actually. The rotation inside is amazing as well. It is on sale for 25% off making it $68 and it is made of Elastomer.

If you want to thrust your pelvic muscles though that doesn't sound like something you can use or any other rabbit except for a slimmer one, like Mood Seductive

Rabbits make WAY more assumptions about your body than most toys, so they're much trickier to shop for.

In general, I don't recommend rabbits to folks who aren't willing to spend $60 on something that might not work for them. You can get way more mileage out of a good traditional vibrator (or even a gspot vibe if you know what kind of shape you want) paired with a clit vibe--use them together, use them separately.

I kind of hate rabbits, actually. Toys should be versatile and compatible with a range of preferences and anatomies, IMO.

If you like a more active role, by all means get dildo/clit stimulator combo.. but if you like the idea of not having to do anything letting the toy do all the work, a rabbit toy may be for you.
Either way, I recommend doing alot of research to find what suits you best.

The clit attachment doesn't really seem all that "must-have!" to me, i need heavier pressure and allover, not just tiny pinpoints that the ears can cover. they're adorable though!

I tend to have better luck with two separate toys, mostly because you can't thrust a rabbit vibe and still have constant clit stimulation. They're nice every now and then, but for the most part, I just use two hands.

I bought my wife the Jopen Vanity Vr12 and it's fabulous! A bit pricey, but if you tried it you would fall in love with it, and you will have it for years. Since you are on a budget though, let me give you another suggestion for a Rabbit that's more moderately priced, but is still very good quality. We own a Couture Utopia Rabbit vibrator, and due to its design and texture, it's very good for thrusting or to use as a hold still and moan Rabbit vibrator. Another suggestion would be to use a nice dildo for your thrusting, and purchase a We-Vibe Salsa clit vibrator to make your clit sing while you thrust away. The Salsa is small, powerful and has a great shape to easily hold in your fingertips.

I wish you luck in your search!
