I can't wait until the Solar Bullet by Cal Exotics comes out. This looks really compelling, and I'd love to see more solar powered vibrators!

Do you think this could be a viable way to power a wide variety of vibrators?

It certainly seems like it could be. I'm hoping it has decent power

I'm hoping it doesn't need full solar exposure to work... Sort of like how calculators with solar panel bits can still get energy from indoor lighting.

The box says it charges from "most light sources", so I'm hopeful

Good news! Solar Bullet will be available to purchase later today! I am also looking forward to see more solar powered products on the market in the future. I believe solar power is a viable power source for smaller vibes - I have yet to see a solar powered rabbit. We do have another cool eco-friendly vibrator available - link. Earth Angel is powered by hand-cranking and does not require batteries.

I think, based on using this toy, that the solar cell would have to be quite a bit larger to get a hitachi-level power output, but it's certainly feasible.

Great idea!

My Man is building a wind turbine in our yard for power. The other day, he was kidding around and said, "We could hook it up to power your Mixmaster, huh?" (The Wahl.) I said, OK, as long as I don't have to use it outside!

Anything to help the environment. Actually, many wind and solar power cells can be charged and then emit a lot of power, usually it begins as D/C or then transformed from D/C to A/C, unless you are running a D/C machine, but it certainly is done, and will be done more. Once you have the power cell and the battery charged, you can power almost anything. Actually, we need to use our wind turbine to power our well pump, as we live semi rural, and we have a private and septic system, which runs on electric power.

We need to break our "addiction" to oil.

The plastic casing on the solar panel does seem a little cheaply made... I haven't attempted dropping it in the fear it might break... but I sure if its dropped on carpet it would be okay.

The solar panel on the Solar Bullet, also powers other bullets which have a wired jack.

It does have a decent amount of power. It has a slide dial for intensity from low to high. the high setting is pretty intense.

No, it just needs exposure to charge, not to use. I actually sit it on my window sill and charge it. Then, I plug in the bullet when I wanna take it between the sheets.
