Hi all, I am wondering what everyone thinks about Rechargable toys versus toys that need batteries. I have personally enjoyed all of my rechargable toys in lieu of buying batteries. Tell me what y'all think!

I have yet to be able to buy re-charging toy...and buying batteries sucks lol. I worked at a toy shop and gave demonstrations to our customers....I liked that they always seemed to charge quickly and last longer ...so I would go with no batteries

It's a huge con for me if a toy isn't rechargable

A good toy is a good toy, regardless of power source.
I just use rechargeable batteries when a toy isn't rechargeable. With some toys, they're weaker with rechargeables than with regular batteries, but I don't find that to be much of a deterrent.

Rechargeable toys are great for me since I don't have a ton of money to spend on batteries but I still buy battery operated toys an just get batteries from here.

I also only buy rechargeable toys, they're convenient and I don't have to waste money on batteries.

I love my rechargeables---until they die during use. Than it is my battery toys!! I have a huge supply of batteries.

Rechargeable toys forsure

all you have to do is buy a rechargeable battery kit with some AA and AAA batteries, they arent that expensive and you then turn your desposible battery toys into rechargeable ones and its great!

I love rechargeable toys. It's better than running around the house taking batteries out of the remote to use. LOL

I agree that rechargeable toys are great - but they are relatively new.
Not many have yet had the unpleasant experience of your $100+ rechargeable vibe will no longer recharge.
The batteries are sealed in place (like an iPhone) - your going to have to throw it away and pony up $100+ more and hope the new one works as well as your old one - which may have been discontinued.
Just how do recycle vibrators at your local Home Depot or Target battery recycling center! Will it be a little embarrassing?

I find that rechargeable vibrators are stronger, which is a definite plus for me.

Rechargeable are the way to go for us. We love that it's a smaller eco-footprint, and it seems that the power is better.
