I would suggest bullets to start
link, link, link. I like those better than remotes.

Or a traditional vibrator like this link. I don't have many suggestions for those types but I'm sure others would.

Vibrating cock rings are something you both could enjoy as well as massage oils, candles and a massager wand, link, these are good too link the heart massagers.

It really depends on what type of toys you are interested in and what your preferences are. Most people like to start out small/average and some of us even like to stay with average sized toys. Then some like bigger toys only. I would recommend sticking with something small, but if you're like me, a good traditional vibe that works for both clitoral stimulation and penetration is a great place to start. I'd suggest a vibrator that has a good variety of settings so you can get a feel of all the pulsing and escalating vibes to find what you like. I'm really not sure if this would be the best beginner vibrator, especially with the price, but Freestyle could be a great start if you want to try a very wide variety of vibrations and penetration as a start. Here's the link to freestyle link.

It might be something you'd like. I have had Freestyle for a while and love it!

I also think the BGood vibes look like fantastic starters link
link
Both of those look like vibrators that would be pleasing as long term vibes! So does this link although I've not seen what kind of reviews it's gotten.

You could even get one with a small G-spot curved end, if you're interested in trying that out yet. One of my first vibes was a G-spot vibe. I think it was called Luscious Thrill-her. I loved that thing and used it until recently when it died on me.

Then again you may be interested in something tiny, that's for clitoral stimulation only rather than penetration. Then you could check into bullets. I've never been one to love the bullet vibes though, even when I first started trying toys. They just never did it for me, but most people like them.

I hope you find something great! Best of luck.

There's a difference between kink and spice. Are you looking for sex toys like vibrators and things you can share? Are you looking to get into BDSM?

Zombirella has some good suggestions with the bullets! The Iconic Bullet that she suggested is one of the most popular toys around here.

Personally, I'm always wary on vibrating rings. I don't know what your body types are like, so I don't know that they will work for you, plus materials are a little tricky. But, if you think that your anatomy will match up, you can try something like this ring, which is silicone.

As far as "traditional" vibrators go, I highly recommend the Blueberry Bliss. I received it as a free gift a while back and loved it. It's a great, smooth plastic and still has a little texture to give you a little something extra. It also might be fun for you and your SO to venture into your G-spot. This has a nice, wide ball for your G-spot. Or, you could try something like this.

Also, for the sensual massage route, you can add massage candles. The Dona brand is fairly inexpensive. Afterglow is a very popular brand. If you like to take it to the shower, this shower gel is edible. You can also take some time to paint with chocolate and lick it off each other. Lots to do!

Let me know if you're into the kinkier things like cuffs and paddles and such. I can help you get some very beginner-friendly suggestions!
